Go off the beaten track and visit some of the 120 wine-growers who will share
the passion of their wines with you.
Foie
gras, boletus, breast fillets, conserves... you will
savour all these regional specialties in generous
portions from our kitchen. On Wednesday afternoons, a
farm produce market is organised by local farmers where
you will find a choice of goat’s cheeses or cabécous
(small cheese from mix of goat’s and cow’s
milk), locally produced honey or strawberries from the
Périgord... you’ll be in no doubt, this
is the place to live well and eat well! Not to forget
the noix du Périgord since you are in the region
of one of Europe’s largest walnut farms. Besides
being eaten on their own or in cakes, and being used
for walnut vine, shelled walnuts are used for making
oil and to flavour delicious mustards... Bon appétit!
